Appointments

pen and diaryPhone the surgery number to arrange appointments, repeat prescriptions and home visits. If you prefer a telephone consultation this too can be arranged.

You can now book appointments on-line - see the next tab.

From July 2008 there will be a GP evening surgery once a week, usually on a Wednesday. The evening surgery is for patients who find it difficult to access an appointment during normal hours. This surgery is for routine prebookable appointments, not emergencies, and patients can prebook appointments right up until 6:30 pm on the day. Please note these are Doctor appointments only.

The local Primary Care Trust retains the responsibility for the care of patients requiring emergency care after 6:30pm, therefore the surgery telephone line will be diverted as usual to the out of hours service during the evening clinic. This is so patients requiring emergency care after 6:30pm can access the correct service.

Seeing the Doctor

Our standard is that at worst you should be able to see the Doctor or the Practice Nurse within 24 hours (excluding weekends)
