Practice Nursing

The Practice Nurse works Monday, Wednesday & Friday. She deals with Nursing procedures such as wound care, ear syringing, catheter care,and injections etc. You can also book an appointment for a cervical smear, holiday vaccination advice, pre pregnancy counselling, help with stopping smoking, new patient checks and general health advice and family planning.

In addition she also reviews chronic illness such as Asthma, COPD and Diabetes often working alongside the specialist Diabetic nurse with more complex patients.

The Practice Nurse also runs the childhood vaccination clinic which is held on Monday mornings. If this is not convenient please ask at reception for an alternative appointment.

The Practice Nurse also runs a Phlebotomy clinic on Fridays between 7am and 8am in addition to our regular sessions.

Phlebotomist

Phlebotomy clinics are held between 9am & 2pm Monday to Friday.

Health Care Assistant

The Health Care Assistant monitors BP's performs Health Checks and ear syringing and takes ECG'S .
