FRIENDS OF DESFORD SURGERY - PATIENT PARTICIPATION GROUP
The Friends of Desford Surgery are looking for enthusiastic new members to join them in supporting the Medical Centre. The group meet 4 times a year, and represent the voice of patients, and also attend regular meetings within the wider Clinical commissioning group. Additionally, the group produce a quarterly newsletter for patients, as well as organise fundraising and health awareness events. If you are interested in joining the group, please contact Mrs Anju Maini, at the Surgery. Thank you!

We now have the facility of pharmacy referrals. This enables patients to be seen same day by a local pharmacist at a pharmacy of their choice, for minor illnesses which can include:
To request a pharmacy referral, please call the surgery before 4pm, we will then refer you to a pharmacy of your choice. On receipt of the referral, the pharmacist will call you and arrange a face to face consultation.
