Dr Maini has been a GP for 20 years. He is senior partner at the Practice, and alongside his main responsibilities, he offers teaching to medical students within the Practice.

Dr Anisa Caratela  joined the Medical Centre in January 2014. She works Monday to Wednesday every week. Please note, Dr Caratela is currently on indefinite leave. These sessions are being covered by Dr Saad Azam.

Dr Nidhi Arora-Sethi joined the Practice in October 2014. She has a background in paediatrics, and also specialises in women's health. She currently works at the Practice on Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday. 

Jill is our practice nurse prescriber, who has a background in district nursing & has been a practice nurse for over 11 years. She has proudly worked for the NHS for over 39 years, and continues to offer excellent service for patients of Desford Medical Centre. 

Sukhy joined the Practice in August 2015. She currently works Monday-Friday at the Practice. She offers a Phlebotomy service and heathcare support to the Practice Nurse such as ear syringing, NHS health checks and warfarin testing.

Anju Maini has been practice manager since April 2012. She studied law at university and has a background in the civil service. She has been actively involved in improving the organisational framework of the practice and managing recent changes in Primary Care.
